(1916 - 2002)

Knut Rumohr was born in Frønningen in the Sognefjord. With the exception of short and long stays in Oslo, Rumohr has lived in Sogn his entire life. Rumohr is usually called a painter, graphic artist and draftsman.

Today, with his sharp and striking colors and his personal abstract painting, he is the most famous and well-respected artist here in Sogn. He is well known throughout Norway and abroad, and is represented in many well-known museums and galleries.
